Role Overview: As an Artistic Director, you will play a pivotal role within our Co-Development sector of the Studios Business Unit, collaborating with external partners. Your leadership will guide our internal artistic teams across multiple projects while maintaining direct communication with our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling visuals inspired by both new and established intellectual properties, ensuring consistency in all produced materials.
  • Engage actively in defining, maintaining, and evolving the artistic vision through interdepartmental discussions.
  • Provide guidance to team members, freelancers, and external studio collaborators as necessary.
  • Oversee the establishment of objectives, standards, processes, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Approve and contribute to the creation of visual elements, defining quality benchmarks, content structure, and optimization strategies.
  • Support Game Designers in realizing their creative concepts.
  • Stay informed about demographic and psychographic consumer trends, integrating the latest market insights into your work.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Arts or a related degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years in a leadership role as an Artistic Director or Lead Artist, with a proven track record of delivering at least two high-quality titles across diverse styles.
  • Experience in developing original intellectual properties within the gaming industry.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, familiarity with Maya, and experience with game engines.
  • Exceptional innovation and communication skills, coupled with a deep understanding of the creative process.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with strong oral and written capabilities.
