About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Professional to join our team at BBA. As a key member of our digital power systems team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead engineering projects based on the IEC61850 standard, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Proposal Development: Develop and submit proposals for new projects, highlighting our team's expertise and value proposition.
  • Design and Configuration: Design protection diagrams, configure smart electronic devices, and develop HMI/SCADA system architectures.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing in our digital power systems lab and commission digital power systems at client sites.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Language: Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Skills: Knowledge of electrical substation technologies, protection relay configuration, and the IEC61850 standard.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project leadership, proposal development, and design/configuration of digital power systems.
