Job Summary
The Lifeguard - Pool Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and team members at Deerhurst Resort's pool and waterfront areas. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety
- Enforce pool rules and regulations, and provide clear instructions to guests
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including equipment and facilities
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive experience for all visitors
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a related role
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
