About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C#/.Net developer to join our electronic trading team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software applications in an Agile environment for price/inventory publication, inquiry management, and straight-through processing of electronic trades.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Trading Systems
  • Design, develop, and test software applications for electronic trading
  • Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to propose designs and implement projects
  • Ensure timely delivery and follow Agile and continuous delivery methodologies
Ensure Data Integrity and Flow
  • Ensure all data and flows between trading and settlement applications are maintained
Manage Initiatives and Provide Support
  • Manage each initiative given by management from start to end
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level of support
  • Assist the support team in the rollout of releases
Communicate Effectively
  • Give clear and consistent reports to clients and management
  • Collaborate with other teams (networking, systems, quality assurance, support, architects, other development teams)
Requirements
  • Education
    • Graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science or related subject
    • A degree in Finance is a plus
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent in English
  • Technical Skills
    • Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming
    • Strong technical skills in.Net C#
    • Multithreaded application development knowledge
    • Understanding of messaging technologies
    • Strong knowledge of programming design patterns including MVVM
    • Source control tools, preferably Git
    • Understanding of agile development practices
    • Proficient in Dependency Injection and Entity Framework
    • Experience in CI/CD frameworks and standard DevOps tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA,...)
