Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team at FGF Brands. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on projects related to existing food manufacturing equipment, commissioning of new food manufacturing equipment, and other capital expansion related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for projects using AutoCAD.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams on site.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to enhance the design and delivery of robust control systems.
  • Develop and deliver technical training for electricians.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, electricians, and project leads to ensure project completion on time.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental Standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and their practical application.
  • Experience working with electrical systems, components, and devices in design and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with PLC/HMI software, including Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View, Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7, TIA Portal, WinCC, Omron Sysmac Studio, Mitsubishi GX Developer, ABB RobotStudio, PickMaster, Fanuc TP Programming Language, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory codes, and best practices, including understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication and interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work on-call after hours to support operations.
  • AutoCAD proficiency.
