Family Support Network Team Leader

Wood's Homes is a leading mental health organization in Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to building good mental health and well-being in communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Family Support Network team.

Role Summary

The Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of our Family Support Network program. This includes recruiting and supervising front-line staff, case management, and financial accountability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social sciences, child and youth care, or a related field, and a minimum of four years' experience working with young people and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, supervise, and manage front-line staff
  • Provide case management services to families and individuals
  • Assume financial accountability for program expenses
  • Participate in meetings, case management reviews, and conferences
  • Complete all required health and safety training
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or diploma in social sciences, child and youth care, or a related field
  • Minimum of four years' experience working with young people and families
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
