We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Elementary School Office, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Elementary School Office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with financial transactions, including processing payments and maintaining budget records.
- Support the school office with tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the school office.
- Completion of a Secondary School Diploma and 1-2 years of related experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment, providing administrative support to the Elementary School Office. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
