We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Residential division. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform drywall repairs, prepare surfaces for painting, and execute painting tasks
- Conduct minor plumbing repairs, including clearing blockages and replacing faucet components
- Assist with minor renovations, including kitchen and cabinetry updates
- Manage lock repairs and replacements
- Carry out minor electrical repairs and maintain security systems
- Service and repair kitchen appliances
- Support suite renovations and upgrades as needed
- Handle equipment and material movement
- Respond to work orders and emergency situations promptly
- Clear snow from walkways and communal areas as required
- Deliver and post notices for residents
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Assist in implementing preventative maintenance strategies
- Provide excellent resident services and foster positive relationships
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance
- Ability to provide a clean criminal record check
- Valid driver's license and annual driver's abstract if operating a company vehicle
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs with equipment
