Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at JUE WEI FOOD (CANADA) LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compile records for analytical studies to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to ensure the quality and safety of our food products.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development of standards, health and safety measures, and quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Experience with MS Office and other software applications.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check and obtain a security clearance.
