Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including preparation and portioning of food, to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Train and develop kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations and Logistics
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including sales, stock, and wastage.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys and ensure that food is stored and handled safely.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon and that customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure seamless service and high standards of quality.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure that information is shared and that goals are achieved.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Work Environment
