About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging activities to promote children's cognitive, emotional, and social development
    • Establish a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore and learn
  • Household Management
    • Assume full responsibility for household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
    • Maintain a clean and organized living space that meets health and safety standards
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support
    • Collaborate with the Riziki team to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas
  • Screening and Selection
    • Participate in the screening and selection process for new caregivers
    • Assist in the development of caregiver profiles and support plans
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience in child care or a related field is an asset
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluency in English is required
    • Knowledge of Swahili is an asset
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and reliable
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
