Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Loblaw Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process customer prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Maintain patient and drug information files, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Check and verify pharmaceutical products prepared by other technicians or unregulated personnel.
- Prepare prescription labels, affixing labels to prescription containers, and reconcile accounts.
- Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, mix, and reconstitute medications as needed.
- Price prescriptions, prepare receipts, invoices, letters, and memos, and maintain filing systems.
- Stock medications and related supplies, rotate, and monitor stock levels.
- Maintain a perpetual inventory system in Kroll.
- Ensure customer privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification and maintained registration with the appropriate pharmacy association.
- High level of professionalism, knowledge of professional discipline, technical specialties, and related processes.
- Ability to implement practical procedures of systems that are moderately complex.
- Leadership and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Experience with Kroll an asset.
- Respect for the confidential and individual rights of our customers.
- Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and over the telephone with coworkers, supervisors, suppliers, physicians, and customers.
