Paint Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paint Store Manager to join our team at Dulux Paints - PPG Industries. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading our paint store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Direct and control daily store operations to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Plan and organize daily store activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Manage and develop a team of sales and service staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Customer Service
- Provide expert advice on paint and wallpaper products to customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Store Operations
- Ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Monitor and control store expenses to achieve budget targets.
- Business Development
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Build relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate better prices and terms.
- Identify opportunities to improve store operations and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Education and Experience
- 2 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the paint or hardware industry.
- Degree in Business Administration or related field an asset.
