Estate Manager Team Leader

At Encore Estate Management, we are seeking an experienced Estate Manager Team Leader to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for coordinating all resources to effectively manage a portfolio of residential estates and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicator targets for the entire team's portfolio.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Plan of Action, ensuring all items are actioned and tracked to resolution.
  • Report to the General Manager and Encore Directors on a regular basis, covering all matters relating to each estate.
  • Prepare, review, and implement annual budgets for each estate, ensuring the budget is approved and demands are issued on time.
  • Generate purchase orders and authorise payment of all invoices for works associated with the service charge for each estate.
  • Undertake regular income and expenditure reviews of expenditure versus budget to ensure the financial health of each estate.
  • Conduct regular planned site visits to ensure standards are upheld and file Inspection Reports appropriately.
  • Ensure that health and safety legislation, policies, and recommendations are adhered to at all times.
  • Manage the recruitment process of new Estate Managers and employee problems, concerns, sickness, and holiday requests.
  • Help the team prepare for their IRPM exams with support and expert advice.

Requirements:

  • Degree preferable. A good standard of education is essential.
  • 8 years+ relevant management experience. While a background in estate management is desirable, your experience could be in surveying or property management.
  • Strong experience of budget management, financial control, and delivering cost-efficiency.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and detailed working knowledge of building management, systems maintenance, and repair projects.
