At Steven Bean, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes to our team.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Reliable transportation (if applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
