About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at GILL CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Asphalt Work: Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Assisting Tradespeople: Assist skilled tradespeople in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 35-hour week, with regular breaks and time off.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional development.
