About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Simply Fresh. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
    • Provide guidance and support to help the team achieve their goals and objectives
  • Culinary Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to ensure our menu offerings are innovative and exciting
    • Develop and implement new recipes and cooking methods to enhance our menu offerings
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards for quality and presentation
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food is consistently delicious and safe to eat
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior chef role
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant or similar food service establishment
  • Language
    • English
