About the Role

FIVE RIVERS LOGISTICS LTD. is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our trucking division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of transportation tasks, supervising a team of 3-4 people, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise workers and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company standards
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including repairs and rentals, to minimize downtime and optimize resources
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the trucking industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Flexibility, organization, and a strong work ethic
