Job Title: Truck Driver-Supervisor

FIVE RIVERS LOGISTICS LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising drivers, coordinating transportation activities, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to drivers on vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., transportation, logistics, business administration).
  • Minimum 7 months of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
