Job Title: Senior Java Developer with Python Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with Python expertise to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions using Java and Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java and Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java and Python development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with contact center environments and technical designations (e.g. Avaya, Verint, Genesys)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
