Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate to join our dynamic Private Credit team. This role is based in Toronto and is essential for assessing, executing, and overseeing private credit investments on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with investment banks, private equity sponsors, and industry leaders to foster strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to the growth of the Private Credit team, which is recognized for its success in identifying unique credit opportunities.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of thirty professionals across various credit products, working closely with global teams in Equities, Infrastructure, Teachers Venture Growth, and Real Estate.
- Assist the Private Credit team in analyzing investment opportunities, performing financial modeling, managing portfolios, conducting due diligence, and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive investment theses and collaborate with the underwriting committee.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of investment experience, with strong skills in financial modeling and valuation. Excellent communication abilities and a capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines are essential. A collaborative mindset is also important.
