Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Associate to join our Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a work stream as part of new system integration, ensuring accuracy of trade tickets and accounting entries, and partnering with colleagues to successfully structure, close, and fund transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day investment operations functions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
  • Partner with colleagues to structure, close, and fund transactions, identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Assist in the timely completion and accuracy of various reports and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the pricing and valuation validation process for principal credit, intellectual property, and structured product investments.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal investment staff and external asset managers.
  • Develop training documentation and processes for the CI Operations team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., CFA or CAIA) is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in private/public credit operations.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and aptitude in learning new software applications.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable.
