Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Carmel Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant environment for our customers and staff.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and maintain a healthy work environment.
- Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the highest quality and best value for our restaurant.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to maintain a positive customer experience.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Staff Management: Provide guidance and support to our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
