We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Job Summary:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care for clients with a wide range of needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct trauma-informed care services to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to address client needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and progress.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience providing trauma-informed care to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
- Successful completion of Occupational First Aid II (OFA II) or equivalent.
