Position Overview

MOMI PAINTING & HOME RENOVATIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for building quality structures.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

The Framing Carpenter will be responsible for:

  • Constructing foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roofing systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Coordinating and scheduling work on construction sites
  • Surveying building locations and levels
  • Instructing apprentices and supervising other workers
  • Estimating costs and materials for projects
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and wooden structures in various settings
Supervision

The position involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
