About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Nursing & Homemakers Inc. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with Dentists on Patient Care

Collaborate with our dentists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Supervise Dental Assistants

Lead and mentor our dental assistants in their health care functions, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.

Take Dental Impressions

Accurately take and record dental impressions, using your expertise to ensure precise and detailed results.

Instruct Patients on Oral Hygiene

Provide patients with personalized instruction and guidance on oral hygiene practices, empowering them to maintain optimal oral health.

Clean and Stimulate Gums

Use your expertise to clean and stimulate gums, preventing gum disease and promoting overall oral health.

Apply Fluoride Treatment

Apply fluoride treatment to patients, using your knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Remove Stains and Deposits

Use your skills to remove stains and deposits from teeth, leaving patients with a healthy and radiant smile.

Take, Develop, and Mount X-rays

Accurately take, develop, and mount X-rays, using your expertise to ensure precise and detailed results.

Supervision
  • 1 to 2 People

You will be responsible for supervising 1 to 2 people in this role.

Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure

You must hold Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
