As a key player reporting to the Senior Director of Business Solutions & Head of Street Sales Canada, you will spearhead the expansion of Entegra's value-driven group purchasing services across various sectors in the designated provinces. Your expertise in sales, business development, and relationship management will be pivotal in embodying and promoting Entegra's culture, values, and management philosophy. You will cultivate a pipeline of clients, analyze industry trends, identify potential opportunities, and collaborate with our Vendor and Distributor Partners to craft compelling proposals for new business. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development of innovative service packages and focus on nurturing enduring relationships with our existing and prospective partners.
Key Responsibilities
Your leadership and contributions will be essential in driving volume and profitability growth within your assigned region. You will:
- Achieve defined sales targets to ensure Entegra experiences targeted, aggressive, and profitable growth.
- Formulate and execute a strategic plan to pinpoint key growth areas, including prospect qualification, organizational surveys, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and manage a structured pipeline of new business opportunities using Salesforce in collaboration with Key Vendor and Distributor Partners.
- Establish and maintain solid, mutually beneficial business relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and account retention.
- Engage with all management levels for consultation, intervention, and facilitation of strategic sales initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market conditions to leverage existing client relationships for new business opportunities.
- Guide the implementation and delivery of sales requirements, creating a competitive edge through the design and recommendation of sales and marketing strategies.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in group purchasing and/or sales within the food service industry, representing a food product distributor or vendor.
- A proven track record in selling value-based solutions to business clients, with a preference for multi-unit account sales.
- A university degree or equivalent experience.
- A fast-paced, results-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence, focus, and exceptional presentation abilities.
- Experience in responding to RFPs.
- Proficiency with numerical data, particularly in relation to sales.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
