About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide care and support to mature disabled women from Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, including:

  • Range of motion exercises
  • Bathing and grooming
  • Transferring from bed to wheelchair using a Hoyer lift or transfer board

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly or disabled individuals and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
