About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Personal Support Worker to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing
- Collaborate with the resident and interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Assist with planning and implementation of resident leisure activities
- Perform delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice
- Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor
Requirements
- Valid Personal Care Worker course or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening
- Alzheimer's and Dementia Care course considered an asset
- Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or senior living environment an asset
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification preferred
