Licensed Practical Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to pharmaceutical and organizational policies.
- Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and organizational policies.
About this Opportunity:
This is a temporary full-time position until December 31, 2024, with shifts scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15 hours. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide exceptional patient care.
About the Location:
The VJH Emergency Department is a 26-bed unit located in the new Polson Tower, offering a bright and spacious environment with advanced technology and equipment. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, where you can grow and develop your skills.
