About the Job:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and planning care for patients, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and adhere to organizational standards and protocols.

About this Opportunity:

This is a temporary full-time opportunity until December 31, 2024, with shifts scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15 hours. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
