As a Senior Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing comprehensive construction management, including design, budget, and timeline, in collaboration with the Project Manager, Owners, Engineers, and Architects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of large-scale complex projects.
  • Facilitating project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to track and support the ongoing progress of the team.
  • Guiding and mentoring project team members to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines by supervising and coordinating site trades, site management, field engineering, and construction operations.
  • Implementing EllisDon's Safety Program to maintain a secure work environment on-site while complying with safety regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Informing senior management of potential challenges, work disruptions, and scheduling issues while aiding in conflict resolution.

Are you the ideal candidate for this position?

  • You possess a degree in construction-related fields and have over twelve years of experience in the construction industry, or an equivalent mix of technical training and experience on large commercial projects.
  • You have a background in managing a variety of large-scale ICI projects.
  • You are knowledgeable about building envelope systems.
  • You demonstrate advanced understanding of multiple construction disciplines, safety protocols, scheduling, cost management, quality assurance, and engineering drawings.
  • You can swiftly identify issues, assess alternative solutions, devise practical resolutions, and lead a large team to successful project completion.
  • You have extensive scheduling experience with a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and executing both long-term and short-term schedules.
  • You are proficient with computer systems and have prior experience using scheduling software.
  • A CISD Secret clearance is required.
