About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Substation Control and Protection Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design and implementation of electrical substation control and protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design and implementation of electrical substation control and protection systems
- Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
- Manage project budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company resources
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure long-term business growth
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical substation control and protection projects
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
