As a Human Resources Systems Analyst, reporting directly to the HR Client Services Manager, you will utilize your analytical skills to pinpoint inefficiencies within systems and processes, proposing effective solutions through strong communication and teamwork across various departments. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while actively contributing to our HR initiatives.
In your capacity as a member of the HR Service Centre, the HR Systems Analyst will be tasked with the configuration and upkeep of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), focusing on union setup and benefits management. A solid background in managing and configuring HR Information Systems, particularly in unionized settings, is essential. The HR Systems Analyst ensures the integration of union requirements and benefit programs into the HRIS, maintains accurate data management, and provides robust support for the workforce and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration & Maintenance
Oversee the configuration and maintenance of ADP to align with evolving business requirements. Collaborate with Labour Relations Directors, Account Directors, and HRSC to manage system modifications and updates in relation to union agreements. Grasp contract stipulations, including collective agreement implications, to ensure precise setup.Benefits Administration:
Administer payments for union employee benefits programs, encompassing health, wellness, retirement, and pension plans. Conduct regular reconciliations of union benefits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Serve as the primary contact for monthly union benefit remittances. Configure and maintain the benefits module within the HRIS, ensuring supporting documentation is in place. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, collective agreements, and company policies. Analyze discrepancies and resolve issues pertaining to benefit calculations and payments. Work closely with payroll, operations, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and processing of benefits.System Security and User Support:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for ADP users. Develop and maintain user guides and training materials to facilitate system navigation and utilization. Partner with IT and HR teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance. Document workflows, security specifications, and other HRIS configurations.Auditing and Data Integrity:
Execute regular audits of processes and data to guarantee integrity and accuracy. Create and implement an audit plan and checklist to systematically review system operations and data management. Generate and analyze reports related to union membership, payments, and benefit enrollment. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance HR processes and policies. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors uncovered during audits.WHAT WE OFFER:

WHO ARE WE SEEKING?
3-5 years of experience in a System Analyst or similar capacity. Proven expertise in analysis, design, and development. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation or progress towards it is a plus. Experience in unionized environments and benefits management. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now. Experience with HRIS implementations and upgrades. Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools.
