Position Overview

As a Landscaping Foreman/Woman at Special Touch Landscaping, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing the development and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Your leadership will ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Staff Management: Hire, supervise, and schedule a team of 3-4 individuals.
  • Project Coordination: Organize the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
  • Event Planning: Schedule and coordinate events, programs, and activities related to landscaping projects.
  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, ensuring optimal upkeep of landscapes.
  • Resource Management: Estimate labor and materials needed for various projects.
  • Construction Oversight: Organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Technical Skills: Read blueprints and drawings, maintain work records, and logs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain landscaping equipment.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve work-related issues, provide technical advice, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a typical work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
