Job Title: Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing digital communication plans across various marketing and communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to engage with our target audience and promote our brand.
  • Collaborate with our team to create and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of our social media campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our digital communications are always on point.
  • Work closely with our content team to develop and implement content strategies that align with our marketing and communications goals.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media and digital communications.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Strong content creation and editing skills, including photography and video production.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve marketing and communications goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate certificate in digital marketing or social media.
  • Experience with project management and digital media planning tools.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
