Job Title: Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing digital communication plans across various marketing and communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to engage with our target audience and promote our brand
  • Collaborate with our team to create and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms
  • Analyze and report on social media metrics to inform future marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our digital presence remains competitive
  • Work closely with our content team to develop and implement content calendars and ensure timely and effective content distribution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in social media and digital communications
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing social media strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
