Valve Assembly Specialist

Flowserve is seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our Assembly and Repair team. As a Valve Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our valve products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test valves and actuators using bill of material, schematics, specifications, parts pick list, and other applicable documentation.
  • Disassemble and reassemble, blast, paint, inspect, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and testing of valves and related equipment.
  • Document and record information, including output, throughput, quality, and interruptions or other problems encountered.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or prior formal work experience is required.
  • 1-3 years minimum experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or related work environment is required.
  • Troubleshooting skills in positioners, actuators, and valves are required.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Exhibit behavior that encourages teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Open to field work on occasion.
