CIUSSS du Saguenay−Lac-Saint-Jean is seeking a dedicated Technicien(ne) en hygiène du travail to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees by identifying and mitigating workplace risks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of workstations and environments to identify potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety prevention programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on best practices for workplace safety.
  • Train staff on various aspects of occupational health and safety, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility.
  • Monitor environmental conditions and implement control measures to minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of safety protocols.

Your Qualifications:

  • Possess a College diploma in Environmental, Hygiene, and Occupational Safety from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in handling and utilizing measurement instruments.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Possess excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Be fluent in French.
