Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at TorontoJobs Recruitment Division. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing fund and corporate audits, ensuring compliance with various regulations, and analyzing and validating financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage fund and corporate audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and validate financial data, including reviewing and creating spreadsheets.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial entries and monthly reporting.
  • Oversee the Funds' weekly and monthly NAVs, ensuring accurate transactional activity.
  • Support the compliance regime, including updating the Compliance Manual and regulatory reporting.
  • Participate in additional tasks and assist the Management Team as required.
Qualifications:
  • CPA, CA designation preferred.
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and an understanding of QuickBooks.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
