Faculty Overview
The Wilson School of Design, located on the Richmond campus, emphasizes innovation through small class sizes and advanced technological resources. The Front-End Development for Interactive Applications program integrates design principles with technological skills, focusing on the creation of responsive websites and software interfaces.
Position Overview
The FDIT program is seeking qualified candidates for the Faculty List to instruct courses in design and computer science. Positions related to design will emphasize visual communication and user experience, while those in computer science will require a strong background in software development and web programming.
Additional Responsibilities
Faculty members will engage in curriculum enhancement, provide student support, participate in program evaluations, and serve on university committees.
Qualifications (Computer Science and Technology)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with experience in post-secondary education and a minimum of three years in software development. Proficiency in Web Programming and Development is essential.
