Job Title: Tax and Member Services Advisor

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Tax and Member Services Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our members to provide tailored tax strategies that minimize taxes in both the short and long term. Your expertise will help our members navigate complex tax laws and regulations, ensuring they stay compliant and take advantage of available tax savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional tax and accounting advice to FBC members
  • Foster strong relationships with FBC members and secure member referrals
  • Recognize member needs and connect them with our other domain experts within the company and network
  • Participate in community events
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a tax preparation or accounting firm
  • Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, preferably with Taxprep and Xero. iFirm knowledge would be desirable
  • Experience preparing tax returns for farms, small businesses, and corporations
