About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at United Developments. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
  • Cost Estimation and Control: Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Work Scheduling and Planning: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support project needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

As a Residential Construction Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often under pressure to meet project deadlines. You must be able to work effectively in a team setting and be physically able to perform the duties of the role.

  • Reliability and Teamwork: Demonstrate reliability and a commitment to teamwork to ensure project success.
Experience and Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in residential construction supervision or a related field. A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, and relevant certifications or training would be an asset.
