Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated computer workstations and peripherals.
  • Assess and deploy computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Establish and enforce data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Conduct routine network operations, including startup and shutdown procedures, while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Execute data backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Configure local area networks and establish Internet connections.
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance.
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary.
  • Assist website visitors and designers by responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Oversee web server backup and recovery tasks.
