Job Title: Executive Vice President, Research & Innovation (EVP), TOH and Chief Executive Officer & Scientific Director (CEO/SD), OHRI

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational research leader to join our team as the EVP, TOH and CEO/SD, OHRI. This is a unique opportunity to actualize the Hospital's long-standing commitment to innovate, integrate, and have impact across its entire research enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the research enterprise, driving innovation and impact across the Hospital's research programs
  • Develop and implement a compelling vision for the Hospital's research and innovation enterprise
  • Mentor and empower staff to develop and support diverse and inclusive team cultures
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive research and innovation forward
  • Model integrity, equity, inclusion, collaboration, and excellence in all aspects of the role
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leadership and innovation in research and innovation
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to develop and rally support for a compelling vision for the Hospital's research and innovation enterprise
  • Experience in developing and supporting diverse and inclusive team cultures
  • Commitment to addressing matters of social justice, anti-racism, anti-oppression, planetary health, and social accountability
