The successful candidate will work with processes, production machinery, machine tools, handling equipment, and other industrial apparatus on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute corrective, preventive, and curative maintenance on all electronic components and automation systems within the industrial facility and production machinery;
  • Program, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and ensure the optimal operation of various electronic instruments, automated systems, and electromechanical devices;
  • Conduct maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of measurement instruments as well as temperature, pressure, and flow control devices;
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements utilizing control and analysis instruments;
  • Enhance and extend the reliability, performance, and lifespan of industrial equipment;
  • Maximize machine operational availability while ensuring sustained productivity and quality levels;
  • Carry out routine maintenance, parts replacement, and immediate repairs to minimize production interruptions;
  • Participate in maintenance activities using the computer-aided maintenance management system (CMMS) 'Maximo';
  • Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to guarantee optimal equipment functionality;
  • Review technical manuals to establish and refine rigorous procedures for equipment commissioning and maintenance;
  • Contribute to the review, enhancement, or documentation of procedures, plans, and work instructions;
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, ensuring the quality of their work;
  • Prepare reports and incident documentation as necessary;
  • Oversee subcontractors and external contractors involved in your responsibilities;
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere;
  • Engage in quality, health and safety, and environmental initiatives;
  • Comply with quality, health and safety, and environmental standards and procedures;
  • Perform other relevant tasks to ensure efficient equipment operation.

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma in instrumentation and control, industrial electronics, or a related field;
  • Valid certification as an electrician or electromechanic;
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in biomethanation, petrochemistry, or water treatment;
  • Physical fitness for the required activities;
  • Proficiency in both French and English;
  • Interest in problem-solving and technical troubleshooting;
  • Aptitude for reading and interpreting technical plans;
  • Strong analytical skills and capability in processing technical data;
  • Team-oriented with a focus on quality;
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset;
  • Commitment to sustainable development;
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
