Carpentry Specialist

Oxford County Renovations Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites
- Instruct and supervise apprentices
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
