Job Summary

HDR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our Water Business Group, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in preparing municipal infrastructure projects, studies, and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing municipal infrastructure projects, studies, and design
  • Provide project engineering and task management
  • Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums
  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties associated with project management for projects
  • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate
  • Interest or experience analyzing and designing water-focused systems
  • Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
