Job Description

WSP Canada is seeking an experienced Intermediate Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer to work on a wide range of projects, including water-wastewater treatment, pumping station and reservoir design, hydraulic water modeling, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing technical analysis and design reports;
  • Conduct asset management and condition assessments of water and wastewater vertical and linear infrastructures;
  • Prepare and review drawings and technical documents;
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on project development and implementation;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Participate in project meetings and presentations;
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and business development initiatives;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices;
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities;
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related field;
  • Registered as an EIT or P.Eng in any province in Canada;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater infrastructures;
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D, or Softdesk;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
