Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Expert to join our team at tryqrew. As a key member of our procurement advisory team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their strategic procurement goals.

About the Role:

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients to identify areas for improvement in their procurement processes and develop tailored solutions to optimize cost savings, operational efficiency, and profit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Process Optimization: Identify best practices and evaluate organizational performance to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Craft detailed, actionable roadmaps aimed at optimizing cost savings, operational efficiency, and maximizing profit opportunities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Assist clients in designing target operating models that emphasize governance, continual process optimization, and performance-driven category management, all supported by the appropriate technology.
  • Procurement System Implementation: Guide clients through the selection, implementation, and optimization of procurement systems.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or an equivalent field, combined with relevant professional experience.
  • Consulting experience, either internally or externally, is a must.
  • Experience in procurement-related roles.
  • Experience with business transformation initiatives, such as process improvements, governance frameworks, and technology implementations.
  • An interest or background in emerging procurement topics, such as sustainable sourcing and third-party risk management.
  • Familiarity with leading procurement technologies (e.g., Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French, with an emphasis on clear writing and presentations.
  • A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to break down complex issues into clear solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
